I am delighted to announce that it is official that I will be teaching an in-person only Advanced Shamanic Healing Practitioner workshop in 2024. If you are truly interested, please read the Announcement Section.
One of the issues many of us face growing up in the collective we were born into is we tend to blame and judge others, but often we are the hardest on ourselves. Learning to be compassionate with ourselves can lead to profound healing.
As a therapist I keep researching different models of healing, and I am finding that some of the family systems work, and other therapeutic practices have some similarities to a practice I learned in the 1980’s in graduate school. I took a one-year class on psychosynthesis. I really loved it. Psychosynthesis was created by an Italian psychiatrist named Roberto Assagioli.
I think one of the reasons I loved this form of therapy is that some of the practices are so shamanic. Roberto Assagioli had you journeying to the top of a mountain to meet a wise person or teacher who could answer your questions.
One of his exercises I will share with you here. I loved doing it. And I added one more shamanic element to it. Roberto Assagioli taught that we all have sub personalities. I know today other models are bringing this concept in.
We have parts of ourselves that love, parts that judge, parts that blame, a part of us that tries to keep the peace, the judge, the critic, the sensitive one……. You get the point.
And then a powerful practice, that we will perform, is to invite all your sub personalities to a party “mediated” by your helping spirits.
When I used to do this practice, I would find I could not get into the room with all my sub personalities.
You need to add a sense of humor into this. For the point is to see how different voices from within make decisions in your life and sculpt your path. For example, if you have a sub personality that feels you are unworthy how are you going to create what you desire in life?
It is good to reflect on the parts of us that support us and block us in our journey through life.
You might start this practice by journeying, meditating, journaling, taking nature walks to gather information, which all will give a true look into your inner landscape. What is going on in there? What inner voices are talking all the time in a looping fashion?
And then use your imagination to create a party with the help of your helping spirits. Ask them for help in creating a journey that has a room with all your sub personalities and “schmooze” with them. Talk to them and learn what they have to say.
And then ask your helping spirits to help transmute the energies inside your inner landscape that don’t work for your highest benefit as you reach for a life filled with unconditional love for yourself and life itself.
Try the practice. It might become a regular practice for you.
The full moon is November 27. Please do your preparation practices to make sure that no egoic parts of you are distracting you from the deeper work that can actually produce positive results and create positive change.
Imagine your body as a costume. And allow yourself to free yourself of the costume and experience the most brilliant light circulating through you and emanating into the collective touching every part of this great Earth.
If you are a new reader of The Transmutation News please read Creating A Human Web of Light for instructions on our full moon ceremonies. This is on our homepage.
In parts of the world, we celebrate Thanksgiving this month. As a circle let’s join together to wish each other a warm and joyful Thanksgiving filled with love, gratitude, and the company of a loving community and family. May your day be blessed with moments of happiness and togetherness. And may we all find the inner places within us where we feel gratitude for ourselves and all we have been through in our lives to have brought us to the place we are now – living in a higher consciousness and knowing so much going on around us is an illusion just lie a dream which we all have the power to change.

It will take place for 6 days April 21-27, 2024 and 5 days in September 15-20, 2024. The first 6-day training will cover Medicine for the Earth and Healing with Spiritual Light, how to perform extractions, and a training on working with the dying. The second week will be completely devoted to my entire Soul Retrieval Training. Participants who show true promise with the work will be able to send in case studies in order to be listed on www.shamanicteachers.com and will have first choice in applying for my Two-Year Teacher Training.
Please only apply if you are planning to be a shamanic practitioner and take this work into the world. It is not a training to take for personal healing. It is a professional training to learn how to be a shamanic practitioner working from your highest place of integrity while being a hollow bone and vessel for the divine spirits who perform the healing work for our clients.
