Sandra Ingerman’s 2025-2026 Professional Shamanic Teacher Training  (Course is Closed)

Back in the late 1990’s Isis asked me to start seeding local communities with really well trained teachers. She said a time would come when people would not be able to travel, and we needed good teachers and practitioners who could serve their local communities.

I have been seeding our communities with well trained teachers to save people the expense of having to travel to distant workshops. We need to create a way to get information out to a broader audience so we can help change the current level of consciousness in the world.

In this training I will cover issues and questions that come up when teaching groups, help participants design workshops, and I will share new adaptations to the work that will speak to our world community and work with present- day issues and problems.

We will also use shamanic journeying and ceremonies to work through the egoic traps that many teachers fall into when they take on the role of teacher and help work through blocks that prevent us from being as creative as is our birthright.

Five Day Soul Retrieval Training
Psychopomp work as well as a working with people who are facing death.
Medicine for the Earth
Healing with Spiritual Light
How to teach and lead ceremonies in workshops

This is my last Teacher Training. I am only looking for people who want to teach direct revelation and who want to be listed on www.shamanicteachers.com. If this is not your wish and if your background is not primarily practicing direct revelation please this is not the training for you. I teach old time shamanism and only teach the work of direct revelation and working in the Lower World, Middle World, and Upper World. Experience working in all three worlds is required.

This is a professional training not just a workshop. I have kept the tuition much lower than others would charge for this opportunity. Room and board prices at retreat centers are high these days, which I have no control over. Please calculate your costs and see if this is realistic for you.  I have been teaching for 44 years. And I expect this will be a life path for you too.

This training will give you a way of being in service and being able to teach and see clients for the rest of your life. So this is a training that will benefit you for life not just for a short period. And obviously this is going to need a commitment on every level.

There are very strict prerequisites for this course as great teachers teach from his or her experience. Therefore, I will only be accepting applications from people who have already completed workshops and are practicing all the work shared in this course.

Please only apply to the course if you have completed all the prerequisites.  

You need to have taken the following courses as well as have the practice using the material:

Shamanic Journeying
Shamanic Extraction
Five Day Soul Retrieval Training with someone listed on www.shamanicteachers.com authorized to teach it.
Psychopomp work
Medicine for the Earth and Healing with Spiritual Light

Also you need to be seeing clients.

In the application you will be asked to list the courses you completed, as well as who you studied with, and you will be asked to describe your practice with clients and how many clients you see a week. For you can’t teach shamanism without a healthy healing practice. You need to be seeing clients for at least 6 months.

Those who took all prerequisites with someone listed on shamanicteachers.com will have preference on enrolling into the course.

You will need to send 3 case studies on your work with soul retrieval for a client, two case studies of your extraction work, and one case study of your psychompomp work. The format for what I ask for with case studies is specified  in the application.

If I have questions about your application an interview will be set up. I am not just looking for participants trained in shamanism I am looking for emotionally mature participants who have done a lot of personal work on themselves and lead a deep spiritual life and can deal with all types of challenges that can come up in a workshop.

We we will meet twice a year for two years at the Chi Center in Galisteo, New Mexico outside of Santa Fe. The dates are:

April 20-25 2025
September 14-19 2025
April 19-24 2026  
September 13-18 2026.

All the sessions are five days and begin Sunday night with dinner and end Friday at noon and lunch is served after.

Participation is required for all four meetings in order to complete the teacher training.

You might be asked to teach a workshop on your own before completing the training. And once accepted to the website you can only be listed if you submit workshops to our webmaster Sylvia Edwards that you have scheduled.

Participants who have completed all four sessions will be eligible to be listed on www.shamanicteachers.com. You will be able to list workshops that I’ve trained you to teach as well as you can list unique and creative workshops you have designed that have to do with shamanism.

Cost: Tuition is $750 for each five day session. Room and board charges will be based on the type of room you stay in and the final number of people in the class. For planning purposes, use $1400.  Due to contractual obligations, all fees for the four sessions are non-refundable.
